Ilya Boyarintsev

Hi, Ilya here.

I’m a designer focused on creating simple, polished digital things. Previously worked as a Designer at Dextra, one of the leading web studios in my Hometown.

Besides that, took part in projects with various teams such as Karmapolitan and Deiz in various ways.

Over the past few years, I have worked on products that taught me more than any title could. At Dextra I learned how messy and fast real product work is. At Karmapolitan I learned how to build for people who genuinely care about what they are using.

I did not have a plan when I started in design. I just wanted to make things that felt considered and useful, and that path eventually led me through corporate sites, early-stage tools, and helping products find their shape.

Design is just the surface. The real work lives in the constraints, in the questions you ask, and in how your decisions hold up with real users. And as the field shifts toward smaller teams and broader responsibility, designers step far beyond the traditional boundaries: shaping direction, framing problems, prioritizing, prototyping interactions, and even building technical proofs of concept that used to be done only by engineers. I see myself in that shift.

That is where I want to grow.
